Man injured in Tacony shooting

A 34-year-old man was shot in the hip early Wednesday morning on Keystone Street, police said.

A 34-year-old man was shot early Wednesday, July 31, on the 7000 block of Keystone Street in Tacony, according to police.

Officers responded to the scene around 3 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound to his hip. They rushed him to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where police said he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made as of Tuesday. Authorities described the suspect as a black man who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a heavy build.

The Northeast Detective Division is investigating the shooting. ••
