Smokey and Felicity are hot prospects for adoption

Smokey, formerly of Philadelphia’s Animal Care and Control, is about 3, loves people, walks great on a leash and is very mannerly.

Before adoption or fostering, he will have a dog meet.

He has not been cat tested but has no reaction to cats when he’s out walking.

He is house trained and crate trained.

Anyone interested in meeting Smokey can fill out an application at www.lilospromise.com. ••

Felicity was found as a stray. Neighborhood residents reported feeding her outside for several weeks.

Now safe indoors and in the care of Northeast Animal Rescue, Felicity is a very affectionate and well-behaved lap cat who is adjusting well. She loves to play and running up and down her scratching towers.

Felicity, 11 months old, is spayed and current on vaccinations, and has tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.

For more information, to fill out an application, to volunteer at one of NAR’s three Pet Valu locations or learn about the seventh annual Pastabilities for Pets on Oct. 12, visit nar.rescuegroups.org. ••
