Tzofim-Israeli Friendship Caravan visits KleinLife

Creating friendships: Shelley Geltzer (center), program director of active adult life at KleinLife, greets leaders and teen members of the Tzofim-Israeli Friendship Caravan prior to their one-hour musical and dance performance for members and invited guests in the newly renovated theater at the senior center at 10100 Jamison Ave. Joining Geltzer are (from left) Morey Smerling, a director of the Friends of the Israel Scouts of Delaware Valley; performers Noam Izhak and Eldar Herman; and Barry Kauffmann, a director of the Friends of the Israel Scouts of Delaware Valley. The Israeli scouts performed during a Philadelphia stopover as part of their 46th nationwide summer tour and the celebration of the 71st anniversary of the state of Israel. The performances were cosponsored by the Alan Eisen Memorial Fund and the Ceil and Harry Thomas Fund.
