A 22-year-old man was killed early Wednesday morning after being shot in Lawncrest, police said.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Van Kirk Street around 1 a.m. and found the victim inside the rear doorway of a property. He had four gunshot wounds to his chest, left shoulder and both thighs, authorities said.
Police identified the man who was shot as Ivan Ortiz, of Olney.
He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he died less than an hour later, according to police.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Homicide Unit. ••
