A 63-year-old man died after being hit by a car Tuesday night on State Road.
A 63-year-old man died Tuesday, Oct. 1, after being hit by a car on State Road near Rhawn Street, police said.
Officers responded to the 7900 block of State Road around 9:15 p.m. and discovered the man, a pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle heading northbound. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. ••
