One killed in Holmesburg double shooting

A 22-year-old man was killed after gunfire erupted Monday night on the 7400 block of Torresdale Avenue.

A man was killed and another was injured Monday night after a shooting in Holmesburg, police said.

Officers responded to the 7400 block of Torresdale Avenue (near Bleigh Avenue) around 11 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Both victims were shot while sitting inside a car. The men drove themselves to Jefferson Frankford Hospital, police said.

Isheem Campbell, 22, of the 4700 block of Loring Street, suffered gunshot wounds to the head, chest and shoulder, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at 11:44 p.m., according to police.

The second victim, a 43-year-old man, was shot in the right hand and had graze wounds to his head and back, authorities said. He is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is active and ongoing with the homicide division. ••
