A 45-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed Wednesday morning in Somerton, authorities said.

Police said the stabbing occurred around 6 a.m. on the 10800 block of Lockart Road. The victim was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.

No arrests have been made as of Tuesday, and authorities did not release a description of a suspect or a possible motive.

The Northeast Detective Division is investigated the incident. ••
