Two people were injured early Wednesday morning in a shooting near Frankford Avenue and Sellers Street, police said.
A 25-year-old man was shot in the buttocks, and a 27-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg, according to authorities. Both were taken to Jefferson Frankford Hospital in a private vehicle. Police said they are in stable condition.
Officers responded to the scene around 2 a.m., and investigators examined the car at the hospital. No weapon was recovered, and no arrests have been made as of Tuesday.
The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives. ••
