Homicide detectives are investigating after police officers found a man with a massive head wound and several slashes to his chest early Tuesday morning inside a Rhawnhurst home.
Authorities said the 59-year-old man was partially tied to a bed inside a house on the 8400 block of Algon Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene just before 3:30 a.m., according to police.
Police were called to the home around 3 a.m. by a neighbor who reported a man in distress. Investigators said a woman was seen leaving the house before officers arrived.
