Nov. 11 through 24

As reported by Northeast Detectives. Does not include homicides, sexual assaults, narcotics offenses or other specific crimes investigated by special police units. All locations listed by block, not by exact address.

2nd Police District

There were 13 robberies, most of which took place on the street. These happened at 6700 Horrocks St. (Nov. 15), 2200 Princeton Ave. (Nov. 16) and the intersection of Knorr and Bingham streets (Nov. 24), all of which involved handguns; 1800 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 13) and 2300 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 21), both of which involved weapons, and 7600 Castor Ave. (Nov. 11), 6400 Frontenac St. (Nov. 11), the intersection of Tabor and Godfrey avenues (Nov. 12) and 6700 Castor Ave. (Nov. 23). Other robberies took place at a drugstore at 7400 Oxford Ave. (Nov. 15) involving a handgun, an auto parts store at 7300 Oxford Ave. (Nov. 13) involving a handgun, a grocery store/mini market at 1400 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 21) and a public school at 1600 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 21).

There were eight aggravated assaults. Incidents on the street involving handguns happened at 1100 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 11), 6100 Castor Ave. (Nov. 19), 300 E. Cheltenham Ave. (Nov. 20) and 1500 Benner St. (Nov. 21) as well as an additional assault involving another weapon at 2100 Cottman Ave. (Nov. 24). Domestic assaults took place at private residences at 300 Robbins St. (Nov. 13), 7100 Oxford Ave. (Nov. 17) and 800 Scattergood St. (Nov. 20).

There were nine burglaries and one attempt. Private residences were burglarized at 1800 Rhawn St. (Nov. 11), 1500 Devereaux Ave. (Nov. 14), 4000 Roosevelt Blvd. (Nov. 20) and an attempt was made at 900 Sanger St. (Nov. 23). Other burglaries happened at an apartment house at 1300 Kerper St. (Nov. 18), a commercial garage at 7900 Rockwell Ave. (Nov. 20), a food store at 6600 Castor Ave. (Nov. 17), a department store at 4600 Roosevelt Blvd. (Nov. 12), a chain store at 7400 Bustleton Ave. (Nov. 17) and a church/synagogue at 6900 Castor Ave. (Nov. 23).

There were 90 thefts, which targeted 47 businesses, 26 vehicles (including a stolen car phone and six stolen vehicle tags), eight street thefts (including a purse snatching), five private residences, two apartment houses, a bicycle and a public school. In addition, nine vehicles were reported stolen, and nine were recovered.

7th Police District

The two reported robberies took place on the street at 9600 Cowden St. (Nov. 15) and a private residence at 1200 Grant Ave. (Nov. 18) and did not involve weapons.

There were no reported aggravated assaults.

The three reported burglaries took place at private residences at 9800 Cowden St. (Nov. 13) and 9900 Alicia St. (Nov. 18) and an apartment house at 8100 Langdon St. (Nov. 13).

There were 24 thefts, which targeted 13 vehicles (including two stolen car phones and a stolen vehicle tag), eight businesses, two street thefts and a private residence. One arrest was made.

8th Police District

There were no reported robberies.

Aggravated assaults took place on the street at 11000 Knights Road (Nov. 21) involving a handgun, 8600 Yale Place (Nov. 17) involving a weapon and 2700 Comly Road (Nov. 16). There was also an assault at a public school at 11000 Knights Road (Nov. 13).

There were seven burglaries. Private residences were burglarized at 4400 Carwithan St. (Nov. 16), 12600 Nanton Drive (Nov. 17) and 4200 Rhawn St. (Nov. 13). Other burglaries took place at an apartment house at 3600 Fenn Drive (Nov. 21), a food store at 3100 Holme Ave. (Nov. 13), a restaurant at 2400 Grant Ave. (Nov. 13) and an unlisted location at 8800 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 16).

There were 53 thefts, which targeted 23 businesses, 22 vehicles (including a stolen vehicle tag), three apartment houses, two street thefts, a doctor’s office, a hospital and a cargo theft.

15th Police District

There were 17 robberies. Robberies on the street involving handguns happened at 7200 Walker St. (Nov. 12), 6200 Mershon St. (Nov. 12), 5900 Tacony St. (Nov. 16), 1100 Wakeling St. (Nov. 18), 1500 Unity St. (Nov. 18) and 1700 Church St. (Nov. 18); robberies involving knives happened at 1600 Pratt St. (Nov. 15), 4900 Disston St. (Nov. 15) and 6900 Hegerman St. (Nov. 18); a robbery with another weapon happened at 1600 Ruan St. (Nov. 20); and robberies with no weapons happened at 5200 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 13), 6500 Marsden St. (Nov. 18), 4000 Bleigh Ave. (Nov. 19), 1700 Bridge St. (Nov. 20) and 4600 Frankford Ave. (Nov. 21). Other robberies took place at a chain food store at 2500 Church St. with a handgun (Nov. 17) and an apartment house at 4900 Penn St. with a rifle (Nov. 12).

There were 15 aggravated assaults. Incidents on the street include a domestic assault at 4700 Melrose St. (Nov. 12), assaults with handguns at 1700 Dyre St. (Nov. 18), 4100 Comly St. (Nov. 21) and 4500 Castor Ave. (Nov. 24), assaults with knives at 1900 Fillmore Place (Nov. 20) and 6300 Crafton St. (Nov. 21), four assaults on police at 5900 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 21) and another assault on police at the intersection of Howell Street and Torresdale Avenue (Nov. 21). Domestic assaults took place at private residences at 3000 Unruh Ave. (Nov. 23) and 4700 Melrose St. (Nov. 12) and at an apartment house at 4000 Shelmire St. (Nov. 24), and another assault with a weapon took place at a private residence at 1500 Arrott St. (Nov. 13).

There were 16 burglaries and one attempt. Burglaries at private residences happened at 4600 Howell St. (Nov. 16), 5000 Homestead St. (Nov. 21), 6500 Marsden St. (Nov. 24), 1000 Dyre St. (Nov. 12), 4800 Griscom St. (Nov. 23), 1300 Wakeling St. (Nov. 11), 6300 Vandike St. (Nov. 16), 2700 Alresford St. (Nov. 21) and an attempt at 7100 Erdrick St. (Nov. 17). Other burglaries happened at retail locations at 5800 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 13) and twice at 4500 Castor Ave. (Nov. 22 and 23), a food store at 6000 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 24), a factory/warehouse at 4600 Fishers Lane (Nov. 17), a rooming house/shelter at 4600 Duffield St. (Nov. 15), an apartment house at 7900 Roosevelt Blvd. (Nov. 19) and on the street at 6400 Torresdale Ave. (Nov. 20).

There were 75 thefts, which targeted 29 businesses, 28 vehicles (including three stolen car phones and six stolen vehicle tags), nine street thefts, six private residences, an apartment house, a storage facility and a public school. Two arrests were made.
