A 19-year-old man was in critical condition following a hit-and-run crash Tuesday, Dec. 17, on the 4100 block of Roosevelt Boulevard in the Lower Northeast, authorities said.
The teenager was crossing the 12-lane road at around 5:45 p.m. when he was hit by an SUV that fled the scene. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, police said.
Police did not release any additional details on the accident or the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made as of Friday. ••
