Woman shot in Wissinoming

A woman was shot early Friday morning on the 4000 block of E. Cheltenham Avenue in Wissinoming, police said.

Police responded to the scene around 3:45 a.m. and found the 28-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her right hand. Officers rushed her to Temple University Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition, authorities said.

CBS3 reported that the woman was driving when suspects fired 50 shots at her from multiple weapons.

No arrests have been made. ••
