A 77-year-old man has been charged in connection with a Dec. 29 stabbing in Holmesburg that left a man critically wounded, authorities said.
Officers at around 10:30 p.m. responded to the 4500 block of Tudor Street and found a 24-year-old man inside a house who had been stabbed in the head, police said. He was transported to Jefferson Frankford Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Sameul Toe, who lives on the block, was arrested the night of the incident and charged with aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
Authorities did not provide a motive for the stabbing. ••
