Three people snatched more than $65,000 worth of jewelry during a New Year’s Eve heist at a shop at Philadelphia Mills mall, authorities said.

The owner noticed the missing items minutes after the interaction and called police just after 4:15 p.m., authorities said. The trio fled the scene without incident.
Authorities described the suspect who distracted the shop owner as a black male in his 50s who is 5 feet 7 inches tall with “bushy” facial hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, black pants and a red hat, police said.
The other suspect is described as a black woman in her 30s who is 5-foot tall with a medium build and complexion. She was wearing a blue and gray jacket and a gray knit hat, police said.
