Twins Natalie and Marissa Olson each received a 4.0 average at Drexel University this past semester. They are graduates of St. Bernard Elementary School and St. Hubert High School and are in their fifth year at Drexel.

Christina Albizu has been named to the Southeast Missouri State University dean’s list for academic achievement during the fall 2019 semester. Students named to the list earned at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit, achieved no grade below a B and received no failing grades in enrolled courses.

Tavion Rogers made the dean’s list at Misericordia University for the fall 2019 semester. Students qualify for the dean’s list with a 3.55 grade point average or higher.

Allison Slowik was among 19 Bloomsburg University students who participated in a Husky Career Road Trip to Eurofins National Service Center, a national laboratory in Leola, Lancaster County that provides environmental testing, monitoring and consulting services. Slowik majors in international business.

The Muhlenberg football team advanced to the NCAA Division III semifinals for the first time in program history. Michael Hnatkowsky (Class of 2021), a Bustleton resident who played at Penn Charter, has 97 touchdown passes for his career – the most by any active junior in all four NCAA divisions.

Albright College’s Domino Players theater troupe will perform The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time on Jan. 17 at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region II Festival, at the University of Maryland. Local cast members include Allison Kephart, Joseph Love and Kyle Zayas.

Azamat Gaparov graduated with a master of science in information technology management from Campbellsville University (Kentucky). In all, 1,189 undergraduate and graduate students earned degrees.

Patrick Horan and Shannon Kelly are among 85 Kutztown University students who have been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success. To be inducted at KU, students must attend an orientation, a three-hour leadership training seminar, three success networking team meetings and three speaker broadcasts featuring leading figures delivering success-related messages to members.
