A pair of weekend stabbings left three people injured in Frankford, police said.

On Saturday, just before midnight, officers found a 62-year-old man who had been stabbed 12 times throughout his torso inside a property on the 4700 block of Tacony Street, authorities said. He was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Police made an arrest and recovered a weapon, but authorities provided no further information.

Less than 24 hours later, a brother and sister got into an altercation on the 4500 block of Oakland Street, and both ended up with stab wounds, according to police.

The 20-year-old woman was stabbed in the right elbow, allegedly by her brother, but refused medical attention. She is accused of stabbing her 24-year-old brother once in his left arm and once in his left leg, police said.

He drove himself to Nazareth Hospital and is in stable condition. Police are treating him as a prisoner. ••
