A 36-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot nine times Wednesday night in Crescentville by the Hill Creek Apartments, police said.
Officers at around 11:30 p.m. responded to a report of a shooting on the 5500 block of Hill Creek Place. They were told the victim had already been taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center.
He suffered nine gunshot wounds to his buttocks and left thigh and also broke his femur, according to authorities.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday. Investigators say the shooter was wearing dark clothing and had a bandana covering his face. The incident is being investigated by Northeast Detectives. ••
