Police investigating 7th District burglaries

Investigators released a video Monday showing a person of interest in connection with a string of residential burglaries.

Authorities are looking for a man who may be connected to a string of recent residential burglaries in the 7th Police District.

Between Jan. 20 and Feb. 4, several burglaries were reported in the district, all between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., police said.

A video released Monday shows a man authorities are calling a “person of interest” knocking on the door of one of the homes hit during the spree. Police described him as a white man in his 20s with tattoos on both hands.

The 7th District covers Bell’s Corner, Bustleton, Somerton and parts of Rhawnhurst.
