The viewing and funeral Mass scheduled for slain police Cpl. James O’Connor have been postponed indefinitely, due to restrictions related to the coronavirus.
Services are not expected for at least two weeks.
O’Connor, a veteran member of SWAT, was shot to death on Friday morning as he served an arrest warrant for murder suspect Hassan Elliott at 1688 Bridge St. in Frankford. An investigation continues as to who shot O’Connor, as there were other people in the house. ••
