American Heritage Credit Union last week donated 50,000 personal protective equipment facemasks to local hospitals.

An AHCU caravan departed company headquarters at 2068 Red Lion Road on the morning of April 22 and traveled to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, Jefferson Frankford Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Other institutions that will be receiving donations include Nazareth Hospital, Jeanes Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center.

“For many years, we have worked with local hospitals to raise millions for their pediatric therapy programs,” said AHCU president and CEO Bruce K. Foulke. “Now, they need our support more than ever, and we are inspired by the passion and selflessness that our hospital members are doing to help affected patients and communities.” ••
