Special lunch for Protestant Home workers

Boxes of Mission BBQ food are about to get wheeled into the Philadelphia Protestant Home for staff to enjoy.

CareGivers America, Mission BBQ and state Rep. Jared Solomon last week teamed up to feed the staff at the Philadelphia Protestant Home.

Anthony Manzo, president and CEO of PPH, was among those who accepted the lunch donation.

Marcus Primavera, director of business development at CareGivers America, said his agency wanted to thank PPH, which he described as the “gold standard” of care, especially important at a time of high coronavirus exposure and case rates.

“They’re in the trenches,” he said. ••
