A Philadelphia police officer had his foot run over while responding to looting at Mayfair Shopping Center.
The incident happened at 3:49 a.m. on Monday while the officer was making an arrest on the 6400 block of Frankford Ave. A looter fleeing the scene ran over his foot and he was transported to Frankford Hospital.
The officer is expected to be released, police said.
