Little Flower High School has a new principal, Colette Weber, who started July 1.
Weber replaces Sister Kathleen Klarich, who announced in April that she would retire at the end of the 2019-2020 academic year. Sister Kathleen had served as LF’s principal since 1995.
For close to two decades, Weber served as a teacher and administrator at George School, a private Quaker institution of secondary education located in Newtown, Bucks County. There, she headed the English department, among other accomplishments.
Weber is in the process of completing her Doctorate in Education Leadership from Gwynedd Mercy University. She holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from The College of New Jersey; a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education/Literature with Physical Education as a Subsidiary Subject from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom; a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Language, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Newcastle, United Kingdom; and Pennsylvania State Certification in the OATCERT Program in Education from St. Joseph’s University. She is a member of St. Luke Parish in Glenside. ••
