Police are investigating a Thursday night murder on the 2000 block of Scattergood St. in Frankford.
Police responded to a 911 call about a shooting on the street at about 5:32 p.m.
Officers found a 22-year-old black male shot in the chest. He was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:53 p.m.
There have been no arrests, and no weapon was recovered. The homicide division is investigating. ••
