The police homicide division is investigating a shooting death that took place early Tuesday morning.
At about 4:09 a.m., police and a fire department medic unit responded to the 700 block of Longshore Ave. after a 911 call of a shooting.
Police found a 38-year-old black male shot once in the right chest inside of a vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene by medics.
No arrests have been made as of Nov. 16, and no weapons have been recovered. ••
