Body discovered inside laundry bag in Tacony

A body was discovered inside of a laundry bag placed on the curb of the 6900 block of Edmund Street this morning, police said.

Officers discovered the body at 7:25 a.m. Friday morning. The victim was pronounced dead by Medic 32 at 8:34 a.m.

Police have not identified the victim but describe them as “small framed” and “brown complected.”

The investigation is ongoing.
