April Harkanson and Ken Houser sing Mary, Did You Know?

St. James Lutheran Church, Castor Avenue and Pratt Street in Northwood, hosted a community candlelight service on Sunday night.

Pastor Paul Andell welcomed the Rev. William Murphy, pastor at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, to participate in the service.

The vocalist was April Harkanson, of St. Anne. The organist was Ken Houser, of St. William. Bronwyn Livezey was the violinist.

The musical selections included O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, O Little Town of Bethlehem, The First Noel, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, O Holy Night, Silent Night and Joy to the World.

The altar was decorated with poinsettias and a giant Douglas fir. ••
