Nutmeg is a sweet inquisitive young dog with a gentle spirit. He loves to nap by your feet and lean in for scratches. He’s cool and collected in most situations, including around other dogs. He gets anxious being alone, so a home with another calm pup to keep him company may be a great fit. He’s always game for a slow walk, but is just as happy when it’s nap time. Macy is longing for her own human. She was found one winter in the backyard of a Northeast Philadelphia house, begging for food. She’s been in foster care ever since, and cannot understand why she isn’t the center of everyone’s attention.
Macy would prefer to be an only cat, and possibly an only pet. She truly wants a person of her own, whom she doesn’t need to share. When her foster mom goes into her room to scoop and clean, Macy rolls on the tops of her feet, demanding attention. She loves to be brushed and held and fussed over. Her foster mom thinks that once she has her forever home, she’ll follow her person from room to room, and sleep either in bed with them, or very close by. Pretty much, she will just worship her person.
Take a good look at her pictures, she has a sweet, pink nose and some beautiful tabby calico patches. Don’t let her expression in her photos fool you – she’s really a happy cat. It’s just that the tabby patch and eye liner on her one eye make her look like she glares. She’s an affectionate sweetheart who lives for attention.
