The 18th annual Father Judge Crusader Classic 5K will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m. The cost is $30 for adults, $15 for runners 18 and under.
Registration will take place in the Father Judge school yard at 7:30 a.m. T-shirts will be provided to all who pre-register, extras will be provided to race-day registrants.
The race will begin at the bandshell in Pennypack Park and continue along the banks of the Pennypack Creek and finish with a lap around the Father Judge track. Medals will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Proceeds from the run will benefit the Firefighter Lt. Robert Neary Scholarship Fund at Father Judge High School. Neary, a 1970 Judge grad, passed away in the line of duty.
