The Mayfair Civic Association and Business Improvement District last week honored winners of their annual Christmas decorating contest.
Winners received lawn signs and Mayfair Civic Association T-shirts, along with a goody bag of donated items from Bellalisa Hair Studio, Torresdale Flowers, Gino’s Pizza Cafe, El Azteca, Capriotti Brothers and Tony’s Famous Tomato Pie.
About a dozen people judged the properties. The prizes were delivered by civic association president Mike Serverson, BID executive director Donny Smith and Bellalisa owner Lisa Greco.
There were winners in the following four categories:
Business – Torresdale Flowers, Bellalisa Hair Studio, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and McCafferty Funeral & Cremation.
Houses of Worship – St. Matthew, St. Timothy.
Rowhomes – 3507 Tudor St., 3513 Shelmire Ave., 3535 Shelmire Ave.
Singles/Corners/Twins – 7411 Brous Ave., 7816 Lexington Ave., 7930 Lister St. ••
