A man faces a Jan. 24 preliminary hearing in connection with the murder of a Lawndale woman earlier this month.
Tasena Jennings, 35, was found dead of gunshot wounds to the head and chest on Jan. 3 in her home on the 900 block of Magee Ave.
Her 17-year-old-son suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, but survived.
Police arrested two men, who are facing murder charges. They were identified as Raymond Robinson, also of Magee Avenue, and Kamu Anderson, of the 900 block of E. Westmoreland St.
A GoFundMe page raising money for Jennings’ three children identified the suspects as her boyfriend and his cousin. ••
