Fire Lt. Sean Williamson

The viewing and funeral for Fire Department Lt. Sean Williamson are scheduled for Sunday and Monday, June 26-27, at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 1121 Jackson St., in South Philadelphia.

Williamson, a 27-year department veteran, died Saturday after a fire-damaged building collapsed in Fairhill.

Williamson was last assigned to Ladder 18 in Tioga/Nicetown. Over his long career, he also served with the specialized Rescue 1 company; taught at the Fire Academy; and was a member of PA-Task Force 1, the federal urban search-and-rescue team sponsored by the PFD.

Viewings will take place Sunday, from 6-9 p.m., and Monday, from 9-11 a.m. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 11.

Shortly after the Mass, the PFD will stage a funeral procession beginning at Engine 59/Ladder 18/Medic 4, 2201 W. Hunting Park Ave. This procession of vehicles and apparatus will travel east on Hunting Park and turn right (south) on Broad until it reaches Stolfo Funeral Home, 2536 S. Broad St.

Interment will be private. ••
