The following local Albright College students were named to the dean’s list: Tori Watson (New Foundations graduate, health psychology major), Leticia Borges (Northeast High, biology), Carleigh Molinaro (St. Hubert, crime and justice major – legal studies minor), Kyle Zayas (Swenson Arts & Technology, music industry studies and theater). To be eligible for the dean’s list, Albright students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three letter-graded courses during a semester. ••

Brandon Dejesus was one of 70 Mansfield University student-athletes to earn Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete recognition for the 2021-22 season. Dejesus is a member of the sprint football team for the Mounties. To be eligible, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 upon completion of the academic year. ••

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference recognized a school-record total of 297 Bloomsburg University student-athletes for the 2021-22 academic year as scholar-athletes. To be eligible, the 2021-22 student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 upon completion of the academic year. Local Bloomsburg scholar-athletes are Matthew Bowes, a La Salle High School graduate and member of the football team; Chuck Layton IV, a Conwell-Egan graduate and member of the football team; and Kelley McHugh, a Little Flower graduate and member of the women’s swimming team. ••

Zahida Halimi received a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Frostburg State University (Maryland). ••
