Give Jett and Covey new homes

Jett is a 7-year-old, 10-pound dachshund/Chihuahua mix who was left at the shelter with a back injury. He is better now but still has an old fracture, so one back leg is a bit crooked.

Jett needs a laid-back home where his family will be OK with carrying him up and down steps, and not allow him to jump on and off beds/furniture. He can do one to two steps on his own.

Jett is house/crate trained, small dog friendly and loves people. He loves attention, but no small children, as they make him a bit nervous due to his previous injuries. He loves to sleep in bed (yours or his) with a soft blanket to burrow under. He’s great on a leash, does well on short walks, and also enjoys “sunning” himself. He is very young at heart and loves to play with toys. Once you meet Jett, you will fall in love with his happy-go-lucky personality.

Jett is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and being fostered in Cherry Hill.

A pregnant Covey found her way to a feeder’s yard to find her next meal. One look at Covey’s big belly, and the feeder knew this poor young mom was due any minute and shouldn’t have to have her babies on the street. She was taken in and found her way to a rescue. She had her babies in foster care. She was a very protective mother and loves her kittens. Her kittens have grown up to be playful and affectionate.

Covey is ready to start a new life of a carefree, playful and affectionate kitty. She is ready to take it easy with you on the sofa, watching your favorite Netflix shows. She is an affectionate girl but has been through a lot. She will need a little time to adjust to new people and new environments. She can also get protective of herself, and will let you know when she has had enough attention. For this reason, she should not be in a home with young children.

Covey, almost 4, is spayed and up to date on vaccines and tested negative for the feline leukemia and immunodeficiency viruses.
