Remodeled Dunkin’ donates to charity

Dunkin’ donated $5,000 to the Kevin from Heaven Foundation.

The Dunkin’ located at 9900 Frankford Ave. on Friday morning welcomed guests for a grand reopening celebration of the remodeled store. The first 100 guests in line received free coffee for a year. The celebration also included giveaways, a prize wheel and appearances by City Councilman Brian O’Neill and Dunkin’s mascot, Sprinkles.

Franchisee Joseph Young has 18 stores, and his family is in its third generation operating Dunkin’ stores. Young and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation presented a check for $5,000 to the Kevin from Heaven Foundation to support the foundation’s mission to aid those who are facing life-altering events and who require assistance in overcoming the challenges they face. ••
