Widener’s 13th annual Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Symposium was held recently. The research projects represented a variety of academic disciplines and showcased Widener’s undergraduate research opportunities. Fifteen students and the 12 faculty advisers who worked with them were honored for having the best presentations and research. The winners included Shea’lyn Hubbs, who was recognized in the Business & Computer Science category for the project “Green bond performance in the United States,” done with Associate Professor Babatunde Odusami, Assistant Professor YoungHa Ki and student partner Daniel Wiedl. ••

Albright College presented a Sounds of Nature choral concert as the first musical performance of the 2022-23 season. Local singers included Fabriana Gaillard, a Soprano in Lion Chorale and a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School majoring in fashion and chemistry; and Kyle Zayas, a Tenor in Lion Chorale, Lion’s Pride and Roaring Lions and a graduate of Swenson Arts & Technology majoring in music industry studies and theater. ••
