Zachary Cruz was among the 27 elite members of the University of Scranton’s incoming class of 2026 who enrolled in its Frank P. Corcione Business Honors Program. One of Scranton’s programs of excellence, students in this program undergo four years of honors studies in the areas of economics, entrepreneurship, operations management, accounting, finance, international business, marketing and management as well as a series of personal development extracurricular activities in the areas of service and career building. Cruz is majoring in business administration. ••
Experience program completion is earned for attending at least a dozen cultural and academic events that range from lectures and exhibitions to concerts and theatrical performances on the Albright College campus. Local students completing the program are Iris Wilson, a graduate of the Science Leadership Academy at Beeber who is studying environmental science; Kamiah Jean, a graduate of Dobbins CTE who is studying fashion; Julia Brinkerhoff, a graduate of Abraham Lincoln who is studying psychology; and Marissa Hazzard, a graduate of Swenson Arts & Technology who is studying psychology and public health. ••
Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions student Ayodeji Ogundare has been named to the summer 2022 dean’s list. Students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester with a schedule of classes totaling at least 15 hours to achieve this distinction. ••
