Blessed Trinity Catholic School, 3001 Levick St. in Lower Mayfair, on Friday night held its ninth annual live nativity to celebrate the season of Advent. The nativity featured sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students as well as goats, rams, sheep, chickens, pot-bellied pigs, donkeys and a baby cow. The animals came from A&P Petting Zoo, of Gloucester County. The event included prayers from the Rev. Michael Olivere, pastor of St. Timothy Church.

Chris Mele and Alex Schmauk performed songs such as Away in a Manger, The First Noel, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O Little Town of Bethlehem and O Come, All Ye Faithful.

Afterward, there was a Christmas party in the parish gym, with food, games, crafts, music and pictures with Santa Claus. ••
