Tacony Seniors enjoyed their anniversary cake, despite the writing congratulating “Mayfair Seniors” on 46 years.
Tacony Seniors last week celebrated their 46th anniversary.
The group meets Mondays at 9 a.m. from September through May at Mayfair Community Center, 2990 St. Vincent St. Newcomers are welcome.
Dues are $23 per year, and meetings include pastries, coffee, lunch, bingo, 50/50 and guest speakers. There was a special cake for the anniversary celebration, and the tables were decorated with balloons and Easter baskets.
Addressing the crowd last Monday was John Sabatina, Democratic candidate for register of wills.
The 2022-23 closing party will take place on Monday, June 5, at noon at Gallo’s Seafood, 8101 Roosevelt Blvd. ••
