The Rally for Red October Bus Tour came to the Northeast on Monday morning, making stops at Frankford and Cottman avenues and the Chickie’s & Pete’s at 11000 Roosevelt Blvd.

The double-decker bus was on hand to pump up fans before Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Phillies and Atlanta Braves.

The Phillies won the opener, but lost on Monday night.

Game 3 of the best-of-five series is Wednesday at 5:07 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park.

Donny Smith, executive director of the Mayfair Business Improvement District, helped coordinate the stop at Frankford and Cottman. He and Lisa Greco, owner of Bellalisa Hair Studio, decorated the Frankford, Cottman and Ryan avenues triangle with Phillies flags.

Phillies ballgirls handed out rally towels and posters to fans, and motorists driving by honked their horns.

Fans had a chance to sign the bus with “Go Phillies” messages, and DJ Hollywood played music, including Dancing on My Own.

Among those on hand were City Councilman Mike Driscoll, state Rep. Pat Gallagher, the Barbera Bear and the Hatfield Meats truck and pig mascot Smiley. ••
