The Block Gives Back on Saturday hosted Feed the Block, providing 67 chicken Caesar wraps and 27 bags of groceries to guests outside their headquarters at 6831 Torresdale Ave. in Tacony.

In addition, The Block distributed cat food, dog food and toys and Bombas socks.

Joining The Block was Joe Picozzi, Republican candidate in the 5th Senatorial District who lives in Tacony.

This Saturday, The Block will take part in Family Fun Day at McIlvain Playground, 5200 Penn St. The day will go from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature a flea market, moonbounce, DJ, concession stand and resource fair. ••
