American Heritage’s scholarship committee selected the recipients based on their scholarly merits, community and school involvement, a letter of recommendation, credit union eligibility and a submitted essay describing an accomplishment, event or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of oneself or others.

“We’re proud to offer our future community leaders an opportunity to help alleviate some of the financial burden that increasing higher education costs create,” said Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage’s president and CEO. “The students coming out of school with more debt and financial burdens than any generation before them. This is one of the reasons we offer our Scholarship Program, so they can use the scholarship however they see fit to support their educational goals and career aspirations. Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the Cecilia B. Grady Scholarship Program and we wish you luck in your future endeavors.” ••
