• These students were honored for academic achievement by being named to Delaware Valley University’s dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester: Abigayle Carey, Juliette Citrigno, Madison Fischer, Yasmine Gonzalez, Emily Hamilton, Robin Lyons, Robert McConnell, Bridgid Medina and Michael Rubino.
• Alie Kamara has been named to the Central Penn College dean’s list. Kamara is majoring in Human Resources Management. Of the students who took classes, 31% made the dean’s list. To qualify for the designation, an undergraduate student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or better for the term.
• Nylah Urquhart, from the Class of 2025, was named to the spring 2024 Head of School Scholar Honors list at Pomfret School (Connecticut). To achieve the distinction, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 4.00 and receive no grade lower than an A-.
• Hollins University (Virginia) congratulates Layla Townsend on earning dean’s list honors during the spring 2024 semester. To attain the distinction, students must earn at least a 3.5 average on a 4.0 grading scale.
• Congratulations to Muhlenberg College students named to the spring 2024 dean’s list. Local students are David Comitale, Amelia Corda, Jade Gambino, Colin Kearney, Link Shuster and Brianna Ramberg. Muhlenberg students with a term GPA of 3.50 or higher were recognized for this academic achievement.
• Zachary Smith, who is studying Theology & Religious Studies at John Carroll University (Ohio), was inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa, the National Honor Society for Religious Studies and Theology.
• Congratulations to Emma Zavaglia for being named to the Western Carolina University (North Carolina) spring 2024 dean’s list. Zavaglia was among more than 1,000 students to achieve the honor. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.
• Commonwealth University congratulates more than 745 students who were named to the spring 2024 president’s list. Local residents on the list were Cain Chen and Carlie Ginter, both from the CU-Bloomsburg campus. To qualify for the president’s list, a student must have earned a GPA of 4.0 or higher in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades.
• Congratulations to the 465 members of Muhlenberg College’s Class of 2024. Local graduates are Link Shuster, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Creative Writing & Journalism; and Brianna Ramberg, who graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Theatre and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. ••
