Northeast High grad killed, boyfriend charged with murder

Authorities have filed a murder charge against the boyfriend of a Temple student and Northeast High graduate who was found shot to death inside her off-campus apartment last month.

The Philadelphia Police Department arrested Brandon Meade, 29, of the 7100 block of Stockley Ave. in Upper Darby, on Sept. 15 for the Aug. 31 slaying of Agatha Hall, 21.

Police were called to the murder scene at about 12:35 a.m. and found Hall lying on the floor with a gunshot wound of the head. She was lying on top of a 9-millimeter handgun and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A medical examiner later determined that it would have been impossible for Hall to inflict the fatal wound on the top left side of her forehead. So the manner of death was ruled homicide. Police did not specify what led investigators to suspect Meade of the crime.

Lee, a native of Liberia and 2011 Northeast grad, was studying finance at Temple. ••
