Gunman sought in 7-eleven robbery

A gunman held up a Burholme convenience store early on Sept. 11. The robbery occurred at 7-Eleven, 1435 Cottman Ave., at about 1:15 a.m. when an unknown man followed the store clerk into the business, pulled a gun and demanded cash. The clerk took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and gave it to the robber, who fled southbound through the store’s parking lot. No injuries were reported.

The robber was described as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and stocky, with a black baseball hat, black long-sleeve shirt and a blue and white bandana covering his face.
