Criminal charges have been filed against a 21-year-old man from Northeast Philadelphia after a shooting at a Bucks County trailer park left serious injuries to another individual.
Authorities identified the suspect as Travis Fleck, 21, who lives on Woodenbridge Road in Northeast Philadelphia. Investigators connected Fleck to the incident after tracing a red vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting. Using surveillance systems and license plate reader technology, police followed the vehicle’s movements to a residence in Levittown. The registered owner of the car was identified as Fleck, and detectives later interviewed him. During that interview, Fleck acknowledged discharging a firearm twice during the encounter and confirmed that he did not possess a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon.
Following the interview, Fleck allowed officers to search his residence. During the search, police recovered four firearms. One of the recovered weapons was identified as the 9mm handgun used in the shooting. Investigators determined the firearm was a ghost gun, as it did not have a serial number. Authorities stated that it has not yet been determined whether the remaining three firearms were involved in other criminal activity. Police also confirmed there was no known prior connection between Fleck and the victim.
The shooting itself occurred around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Top of the Ridge Trailer Park on Gibson Road in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Bensalem Township police reported the incident was officially recorded on January 9, 2026. According to investigators, the victim had been walking through the trailer park when he became involved in an argument with the driver of a red car. That dispute escalated into a physical confrontation between the two men. During the altercation, a rear-seat passenger inside the vehicle produced a firearm and fired twice. One round struck the victim in the left arm, while the second struck a nearby mobile home. The driver and two passengers then fled the scene in the vehicle.
Officers responding to reports of gunfire arrived to find the victim bleeding heavily from a gunshot wound to his left arm. Police immediately provided emergency medical assistance, including applying a tourniquet, before transporting him to Jefferson Hospital’s Torresdale Division. He was admitted in critical condition and later treated and released.
Video connected to the incident later became available, including footage from a Ring camera at a nearby residence that captured the sound of gunfire. Police body-worn camera footage also documented officers assisting the injured man shortly after the shooting.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office approved a list of charges against Fleck, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault, firearms not to be carried without a license, and additional related offenses. An arrest warrant was issued, and Fleck later surrendered to Bensalem police. He was arraigned by District Justice Terry Hughes and committed to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after bail was set at $1 million, with 10 percent required. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for January 27, 2026. Court records available online do not list legal representation for Fleck.
