Abduction attempt in Wissinoming

A flasher may have tried to abduct a teenage girl in Wissinoming last week. Now, police are trying to identify the unknown man.

The incident occurred on the 6000 block of Frankford Ave. at about 9:50 p.m. on July 29. The man drove beside the girl in a black pickup truck, stopped, exited his vehicle and exposed himself, police said. The man then reached out and attempted to grab the girl by the arm.

Police did not specify how the victim avoided the attacker or how he fled the scene. Police are looking for a white man in his 30s with a bald head who was wearing a red shirt and dark pants.
