CVS robbery suspect on the loose

Philadelphia police seek the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a robbery of the CVS pharmacy at 4035 Torresdale Ave. in Frankford on March 19.

Just before 6:28 p.m., the suspect entered the business, approached a cashier, gestured that he had a weapon under his sweatshirt and demanded money. The employee gave the robber $80 cash. The suspect was last seen running west on Worrell Street.

Police describe the robber as a white male in his late 20s, muscular, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 to 175 pounds, with red hair and freckles around his nose. He wore a light blue hoodie sweatshirt with an Old Navy logo across the front in dark blue lettering. He also wore khaki pants and tan work boots.
