Apply for Bright Solar training program

City Councilman Brian O’Neill announced that the Philadelphia Energy Authority is hiring for the Bright Solar Futures Summer Training Program, which provides young people with the opportunity to learn construction safety, how to install solar panels, the basics of energy efficiency and how to succeed in a new workplace.

Applicants must be city residents ages 14-21. The paid program will run weekdays from July 8 to Aug. 16, for 20 hours per week. Students interested in the program must apply by March 20 by calling the Philadelphia Energy Authority at 215-686-4483.
