The Friends of Holmesburg Library sponsored Friends Night in the Garden on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Holmesburg Library, Frankford and Hartel avenues.
The heavy rains and lightning forced the festivities inside.

Activities were face painting, balloon art and a performance by W.C. Gatchel and Friends. All guests were treated to water ice and soft pretzels. ••
